We want to say thank you to all of our coaches, players, parents, family and friends for all of your hard work and support this season. This season would not have been possible without you! The 2011 Trophies are nearly all ready for pick-up. Please email Jennie at lrcrowntrophy@comcast.net and she will arrange a time for you to pick up your team's trophies. Please remember that 1 coach or a designated team mom will need to pick up all of the trophies for each team. Please do not send individual parents to pick these up.

Parents... just another reminder that make-up games will be played on Sunday, October 30th (as long as weather permits) and the playoffs will November 1st, 2nd and 3rd. This year, summer planning begins on Saturday, April 30 at YES! (Youth Enjoying Summer), a summer camp fair and sports expo from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium/AT&T Field. Presented by Little Rock Family and ArkansasSports360.com and sponsored by Windstream, St. Vincent Health System, Simmons First Bank and the Arkansas Travelers, the event brings together more than 20 exhibitors offering summer camps, classes and enrichment activities. Parents can visit with instructors and register on the spot. The goal of the day is to have families leave with a full summer calendar. While mom and dad peruse the vendors, kids ages 4–12 can take the field to participate in skills sessions and friendly sports competitions. Volunteers from Junior Deputy Baseball, LifeCHAMPS , Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas Basketball, YMCA Soccer and The First Tee will be on hand to instruct the sessions. Each organization will receive a portion of the proceeds from the event. Climbing walls, bounce houses and other activities for younger children will also be available. Every person who attends gets a complimentary ticket to any home game at Dickey-Stephens Park courtesy of the Arkansas Travelers. General admission to the event is $5 per person. Each competition costs $2. YES! BUCKS for the competitions will be available at the door. Advance tickets, complete with $4 worth of YES! BUCKS, are available through the youth sports organizations.

Spring Lacrosse is almost here!!! Since Lacrosse is new to the area, we've scheduled 2 coaching clinics to educate all those interested in coaching Lacrosse. No experience necessary and we need your help! Please contact James Crosland, Life CHAMPS Lacrosse Director at james@lifechamps.com in order to register for either clinic.
* Saturday, February 5th 8:00am-4:00pm at Hendrix College in Conway. Led by Hendrix Lacrosse coaching staff. There is no registration fee.
* Saturday, February 12th 9:30am-5:00pm at D1 Sports in Little Rock. Hosted by Little Rock Lacrosse and led by U.S. Lacrosse. No local registration fee, but U.S. Lacrosse requires a $50 membership fee in order to attend.
The new Lacrosse website www.lifechampslacrosse.com will launch on February 1st. The league will begin on March 27th and ONLINE REGISTRATION for the spring league will begin of February 1st at www.lifechampslacrosse.com.

We would like to thank all of our Life CHAMPS participants for a great 2010 season!!! We would like to encourage everyone that at Life CHAMPS, we believe that success in competition is all about being the best one can be in pursuit of winning, while understanding the journey is more important than the outcome. It is the things we learn about ourselves and others that assist in the development of character, overcoming obstacles, dying to self, and improving each step of the journey with a positive attitude regardless of the score board.
Success at Life CHAMPS is not perfection. None of us can attain that. Nevertheless, we will always encourage Life CHAMPS participants to always pursue their personal best regardless of the mental, physical and emotional struggle that often comes with competing on the fields of competition and the classroom. Success at Life CHAMPS is defined as giving 100% effort with your soul, mind, and body during the journey. With this in mind, our primary objective will be to develop the “whole little person” athletically, educationally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Posted October 25, 2010 (2:38pm) Games will be rescheduled for Wednesday and Thursday night this week. Junior Tackle games will be played Wednesday night at 5:45 (5:15 pm game from Sunday 10/24) and 7:00 (6:30pm game from 10/24) at LR Central, and Sophomore Tackle and Junior Flag games will be finished on Thursday night at 5:45pm at Fellowship Fields. If you have scheduled a practice for Thursday night at Fellowship, please be advised that we will have games there on Thursday night. _________________________________________________ Posted October 24, 2010 (5:27pm) Well we were almost able to get them all in. If you played your game today then you will not play again until the playoff schedule. The 4:00pm games at Fellowship that were called due to the weather will all resume in the 2nd half wherever the game was left off. We will do this one night this week. Stay tuned for time and location. The 2 Tackle games at LR Central will also be made up one night this week, and again stay tuned and we will let you know asap. Since it is the last week of the season, we are going to try and play through the weather if we can. Tackle games will be played, there will be 15 minute delays if there is any lightning seen, and these decisions will be made by the referees on the field. Flag games at Fellowship will be game time decisions, but LC Director will update weather section if games are cancelled. Our playoff brackets will be posted ASAP! In the meantime all Freshman Flag, Sophomore Flag, Sophomore Tackle, and Junior Flag gmaes will be played at Burns Park on Monday, November 1, Tuesday, November 2, and Thursday, November 4. Game times are at 5:45pm and 6:45pm. Junior Tackle will play on same nights, same times but different locations. Please check playoff brackets when posted. Senior Tackle will play Monday, November 1st at War Memorial and Super Bowl is TBA.

Flag Coaches, you can now pick up your flags at the Life CHAMPS office or D1! Also, fields for practice have been set aside for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the Fellowship Fields from 5-7pm. If you want to schedule a practice outside of those days, please call Martha Fitzgerald at 224-7171 ext 1479.
Posted September 1, 2010 Registration for the 2010 season is now closed. All the coaches have their rosters, so your son should be contacted by the end of this week (September 3). Games will start on Sunday September 12th. Stay tuned for the schedule of these games. We're extremely excited about this season! It's going to be the best one ever!

After that (sometime next week), your coach will contact you about the first practice. Remember, the first game is Sunday, September 12th!! Your coach will tell you what time slot your age division games will be played: 1:30, 2:45, or 4:00. We can't wait for this season to begin!

Posted July 14, 2010 Get ready for the final evaluation (mandatory to be placed on a team) which will take place at War Memorial Stadium on Sunday, August 22nd. The evaluation times are as follows: Freshman: 2:00 pm Keep yourself and your athlete updated by checking the News section often!! Posted June 30, 2010 The next combine (tryout) for the Fall 2010 League will be July 10th. There will also be one on August 22nd! Both will be held at D1 Sports Training at 2pm. Your athlete will get the opportunity to experience a combine similar to what the NFL players experience at their combines!! You don't want to miss out! All players are required to attend one of these before they are placed on a team! Also, the Fall 2010 league is expected to start the second or third week in September! Get excited!!!! Who will be this years' Super Bowl Champs??!!?
Posted June 18, 2010 Info for camps during the week of June 21-25: Hello everyone!!! We can’t wait for camp next week!! It’s going to be at the historical Quigley Field (Little Rock Central’s field). LifeCHAMPS players are lucky to be the first ones playing on their new field! For directions, scroll down to the previous post. The first day, registration will start at 8 am, then for the other day(s) just have them there by 8:30 to play some football! We will have a snack for your little athletes. And all they need to wear is regular athletic clothes and shoes. No equipment necessary!! Feel free to email or call with any questions!!
