I've registered my athlete for the fall league, what do I do next?
Make sure to check your email frequently for important communication from the Life CHAMPS team. Frequently check the "News" section on the website for the latest LC announcements and information.  And make sure your child attends the yearly evaluation that is usually held at War Memorial a couple of weeks before the season starts. After that, your coach will contact you about practices and what to do next!

When does the fall football season start?
The fall league begins each year in mid-September

How long does the season last?
Life CHAMPS teams play seven games, each Sunday afternoon for seven weeks, weather permitting.  The playoffs are then played the week after the final regular season games.

When are games played?
Sunday afternoons.

Where are games played?
All tackle games are played on some of the finest football fields in the state, the turf of Pulaski Academy, War Memorial Stadium and Little Rock Central High School's Quigley Stadium. All flag games will be on the fields next to Fellowship Bible Church.

When will practices begin for the fall league?
Coaches are responsible for setting up practice times for their individual teams.  Life CHAMPS does not schedule or have this information.  Coaches will receive their team roster at the annual Coaches Meeting, this meeting is typically 2 weeks before the season begins. At this point, coaches will know who is on their team and they can begin practicing with their official Life CHAMPS team. Teams are allowed to practice before the official rosters are handed out, however, the only players that are guaranteed on a specific team are the players that are turned in when the Coaches turn in their protected players list (see below for more information on the protected players list).

How many times per week will my child practice?
Once the season begins and games are underway, we encourage our coaches to limit the practices to one or two per week. Often a coach will practice several times per week during the pre-season to get his team ready to play.

How do I become a coach?
All of our coaches are volunteers and we appreciate the dedication it takes to teach young athletes to be champions for life!! Email rebekah@lifechamps.com
to get the documents and information to become a coach.

What is the Evaluation? Is everyone required to attend, even if my child is only in the 5-6 division?
The Evaluation is what we use to determine the skill level of each player and also what we use to place them on a team. Therefore, it is required that everyone attend.

When is the evaluation?
This information will be posted on the website and communicated via email when it becomes available for the 2012 fall season.  The evaluation is typically in mid-August.

Do we need to bring anything to the Evaluation?
No, just show up ready to show your skills! You can wear regular athletic clothes and tennis shoes.

How long does the Evalutaion last?
You should be finshed with the Evaluation in about 30 minutes.

How much does it cost to play in the fall league?
The cost is $160 per player.

What does the registration fee cover?
For the registration fee you get the best youth football experience around, including participation in the Life Champs Evaluation in which our athletes will be evaluated on skill level, just like they do in the NFL. Your athlete will get full participation in the Life Champs regular and post-season play, pursuit of a super-bowl championship, the opportunity to play youth football in an environment of healthy competition. They will be taught to play to win, but also taught that it's more than just winning, but being a champion in life regardless of the numbers on the scoreboard. They will be led by coaches who have committed to embrace their power to be a positive influence with their players. Also included is a Life Champs game-day jersey and season-ending trophy reminding each player to be a champion in life year-round.

Will my athlete need any special gear?
He will need a white helmet, white pants, pads, and cleats. A representative will be at the Evaluation each year with the equipment you will need and you will be able to purchase the equipment there if you do not have it already.

Can I put my athlete on a certain coaches' team?
